Privacy Policy & Acceptable Use
Last updated: January 5, 2026
At Rlay.io ("Rlay", "we", "us"), we prioritize privacy but maintain a zero-tolerance policy towards illegal activities. This policy outlines how we handle data to ensure service stability and compliance with international laws.
1. Information Collection & Usage
Rlay.io acts as a data conduit. While we do not inspect the payload content of your encrypted tunnels by default, we collect the following metadata to maintain service integrity and prevent abuse:
- Connection Logs: Source IP addresses, timestamps, and duration of connections.
- Traffic Metadata: Bandwidth usage, port allocation, and protocol types (e.g., TCP/UDP/HTTP).
- Device Identifiers: Unique identifiers necessary to route traffic to the correct client.
Note on Payloads: We do not store the actual content (payloads) of the traffic passing through our tunnels unless compelled by a valid legal warrant or to automatically mitigate active cybersecurity attacks (e.g., DDoS filtering).
2. Prohibited Activities & Abuse Prevention
To protect our infrastructure and reputation, the following activities are strictly prohibited. Engagement in these activities will result in immediate account termination and banning of your IP address without notice:
Malicious Content
Hosting malware, ransomware, C2 (Command & Control) servers, or phishing pages (e.g., fake login forms).
Illegal Material
Transmission of CSAM (Child Sexual Abuse Material), non-consensual sexual content, or content promoting terrorism.
Network Attacks
Using Rlay to launch DDoS attacks, port scanning, or unauthorized scraping of third-party systems.
Fraud & Carding
Hosting carding panels, selling stolen credentials, or facilitating financial fraud.
Note on Illegal Activity: We absolutely condemn and will not assist in any illegal activities. If you are using Rlay for illegal purposes, we will cooperate fully with law enforcement agencies.
3. Disclosure to Law Enforcement
We value user privacy, but we are not a haven for criminals. We will cooperate fully with law enforcement agencies if we receive a valid court order, subpoena, or warrant.
We reserve the right to disclose your IP address, connection timestamps, and traffic metadata to relevant authorities if we have good faith belief that the service is being used to commit a crime or harm others.
4. Limitation of Liability
Rlay.io is a technical relay service provider. We claim "Safe Harbor" status under applicable laws (such as the DMCA in the US or the E-Commerce Directive in the EU). We are not responsible for the content users choose to transmit through our tunnels. The user assumes full liability for all traffic originating from their account.
5. Data Retention
Connection logs are retained for a limited period (typically 30 days) to assist in debugging and abuse investigation, after which they are automatically rotated or deleted. Accounts flagged for illegal activity may have their logs preserved indefinitely for evidence.
6. Contact & Abuse Reports
If you discover content hosted via Rlay that violates this policy, please report it immediately.
